Bachelor of Computer Science Degree Programme (CS)

UCSC admits students for two internal degree programmes in the field of Computer Science (CS) and Information Systems (IS). These two degree programmes are formulated to focus on two different market segments in the IT industry.
 
The Bachelor of Computer Science degree is designed to cater for the high demand of Computer Science (CS) and Software Engnieering (SE) professionals worldwide.
 
Students entering the CS stream will obtain a 3 year Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) or a 4 year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSc (CS)) or a 4 year Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering (BSc (SE)).
 
160 students will be admitted to the CS stream of which a selected number would be chosen for the BSc (CS) and BSc (SE) at the end of year 2 based on their performance and preference.
 
Prerequists:
At least a Credit Pass (C) in Combined Mathematics or Physics or Higher Mathematics AND at least a Pass (S)  in TWO other subjects listed below at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination: Combined Mathematics; Higher Mathematics; Physics; Chemistry; Information & Communication Technology; Mathematics;
