UCSC wins the most number of Awards at NBQSA 2010    
The 12th Annual National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) for 2010 organised by the BCS The Chartered Institute for IT, Sri Lanka Section was held at the Galadari Hotel on 1st October 2010. NBQSA recognise local software products and tertiary student projects which compete in 14 categories.

University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) won six awards which included Gold, Silver, 2 Bronze and 2 Merit awards. Vidusayura - A Virtual Learning and Training Environment for Maritime Education was placed Overall third and was nominated to participate at APICTA 2010 along with Vidusuwa -A Patient-centric Telemedicine Solution. APICTA 2010 will be held in Malaysia from 12-15 October 2010.
